In today’s knowledge economy, everyone is being asked to write more – not just marketing and PR people. From computer programmers to accountants to industrial engineers, every professional must be able to communicate quickly, clearly, and effectively in writing to get ahead. But, few have really been taught how.
In this fast-paced workshop, you’ll learn best practices that professional communicators use to get their messages across. Master the three principles of The Lingo Method™ and you’ll transform all your written communications – from emails, letters, and reports to presentations and proposals.
You’ll also learn all kinds of helpful tips and tools, such as:
- Using Morse Code rhythms to make your writing more readable
- Organizing your thoughts the way you clean out a closet
- Walking the tightrope between formal and familiar
- The 24 most important hours of your document’s life
- Knowing which grammar rules really do matter
- Why the look of the page is as important as the words on it
- The reason ads always ask you to “call today to find out more”
